BEAUTIFYING – The Beautifying Ministry serves to ensure the interior and exterior of the church exemplify the beauty of Christ; prepare the Fellowship Hall for major church events; and we assist other ministries with their special events upon request; coordinate and prepare the church for seasonal change interior and exterior and ensure that it is maintained and pleasing in the eyes of God.
GREETERS – Offers a personal welcome to all that enter into the house of the Lord and lets everyone know that we are glad you chose Pilgrim Baptist Church as your place of worship.
HOSPITALITY – Serves the members of Pilgrim Baptist Church and visitors from the surrounding communities by meeting their needs both physically and spiritually, from the time they come into our doors until the time they leave. This happens through greeters, ushers, food and fellowship, making sure to give all the glory and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.
USHERS – Continues the welcoming atmosphere of the church by helping with seating, directing tithes and offering, maintaining order in the sanctuary, and providing assistance to the Pastor when needed.
WILLING WORKERS – Provide comfort and peace to families after the funeral and interment of their loved one. The ministry reaches out to families of deceased registered members by preparing a meal served in the comfortable surroundings of The Rev. Richard Wilson Fellowship Center, allowing time for relaxation and fellowship with others.
