BROTHERHOOD – The main purpose of the Brotherhood Ministry is to involve men in Christian fellowship and service to the church and community. This ministry helps to equip men to become Christ-centered and service minded with regard to meeting the physical needs of our church, community and special mission activities or initiatives.
COUPLES – Strengthens the institution of marriage, promotes fellowship within the church, shares knowledge and information, and support families based on Christian principles. This ministry helps to nurture and strengthen marriages and family relations, and continuously prays for the health and well-being of all.
DEACONS – Serve with the pastor and Church staff in planning and implementing worship service programs; in performing pastoral ministries; in proclaiming the gospel to believers and unbelievers; caring for Church members and other persons in the community; leading the Church to engage in a fellowship of worship, witnessing, education, and ministry; and in leading the Church by example in performing its functions.
DEACONESSES – Assist the pastor and deacons in meeting the needs of the sick and shut-in members of the church; cooperate fully with the pastor and deacons in planning and implementing the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper; recommend for benevolence Church members in need; and assist the pastor and deacons in caring for the members.
MEN’S DAY – Assists in setting the financial goal of the annual Men’s Day Drive and to promote and encourage the full participation of all Church members, especially the men. Further, the committee shall plan and present the annual Men’s Day Program and related activities.
MUSIC – Aids in setting a spiritual pace and tone for the worship services. Gets the congregation ready to receive the preached word. The choir and musicians are charged to minister to the congregation at all services.
PASTOR’S AIDE – Provides and/or assists the Pastor with whatever he needs to carryout God’s mission of shepherding His people. The ministry also supports the Pastor (and first family) through a variety of activities and services that enhance the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
PRAYER BAND – Prays for the sick, bereaved, lost souls and encourages prayer among Christians in harmony with the scriptures.
SENIOR SAINTS – Comprised of adults age 55 and up. The Senior Saints are a vital and active source of prayer support and service in the church.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – Offers age-based instruction in God’s Word from children to senior adults. Sunday School has helps Christians grow in their walk with Christ through Bible study, prayer, fellowship and outreach. Vacation Bible School is held each year to further achieve the goals of the Sunday School.
